Time to get this show on the road!

Calling all runners! TheĀ  sunshine today reminded me that it was time to get some enthusiasm drummed up for our run in September. Georgie and I have been out to run the route a few times this spring but it is really coming alive now! Has anyone marked it on their calendars september 7th?

The bears are up and running again!

The Golden Bear run is returning. We will highlight an exciting change in course length this year offering both 5k walk/run and 10k challenge options! Stay tuned for registration information.

A good time was had by all!

Can’t say thank you enough to everyone who helped today to be successful! My goal today was to say thank you 100 times and I think I might have made it. The results are posted, great job runners! These are our course records now, so remember to come out and defend them next year! Even the sun made a great showing today.

Racers start your engines!

Everyone have a safe drive in. *reminder* take the Klamath Beach Road exit to the old casino sight. You can see the sign from the road.
We can’t wait to see you!

Can’t wait to see everyone!

The t-shirt design is submitted and the printing has begun! We recently had two more big sponsors step up to the plate. Big thanks go out to Pem-mey Fuel Mart and Bicoastal Media. You’ll definently be hearing about our run on KCRE and KPOD in the next week! I think I’ll have to give the route a last run this coming weekend to get the lay of the land for everyone. We’ve got a couple of other firefighters who are going to participate along with all of those volunteering to help with race-day organization. Here’s hoping for a beautiful, September day!
